- We believe that the Bible, the Old and the New Testament, are
the infallible Word of God written by the inspiration of the Holy
Spirit. The Bible is the absolute highest authority over all norms
and values of human life (Ephesians 6:17; Romans 1:16; II Timothy 3: 14-17;
II Peter 1:19)
- We believe in God Almighty, Creator of the heavens and the earth
and all of its contents, who revealed Himself in three Persons, namely:
God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; John 1: 1, 14;
15:26; I John 5: 7; 1 Corinthians 8: 5-6; John 8:42; 14: 8-10)
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God,
who became human through His virgin birth. He lived a sinless life, died
on the cross during the reign of Pontius Pilate to redeem the sins of
mankind, was buried and then rose on the third day as the first among
those resurrected from the dead. He ascended to heaven, and sits at the
right hand of God the Father. He shall return to the world a second time
to judge the living and the dead, lifting up believers to meet the Lord
in the heavens. (Matthew 16: 13-16; 18:11; 27: 1-26; Galatians 4: 4; I
Corinthians 15: 1-4; 15: 22-24; II Corinthians 5: 18-19 ; Acts 10:42;
I Peter 4: 5; I Thessalonians 4: 13-18)
- We believe that all have sinned as the result of the firstfall
of man. We can only be saved by the grace of God by faith in Jesus
Christ as the only Savior, who leads mankind to repentance and to
new birth performed by the power of the Word and The Holy Spirit as the
foundation of a holy life (Genesis 3: 1-17; Romans 3:23; 5:21; 6:23; John
3: 3-8; 3:16; Ephesians 2: 8-9; I Timothy 2: 5-6; Hebrews 12:14)
- We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit which leads believers'
lives into all truth, including the baptism of the Holy Spirit accompanied
by signs written in the Bible to be witnesses of Christ, the building
of the Body of Christ that is His church, and the importance of life that
bears the fruit of the Holy Spirit (John 16:13; Romans 8:14; Luke 3:16;
Acts 1: 8; 2: 4; 8: 14-17; 10: 44-46; 19: 1-6; Romans 12: 6-8; I Corinthians
12: 1-31; Galatians 5: 22-26; Ephesians 4: 11-16)
- We believe that water baptism is a commandment of the Lord Jesus
Christ that must be performed for people who believe and repent, as well
as the Holy Communion that must be celebrated by believers who
have been baptized to commemorate the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ
on the cross by using bread and wine as a symbol of the body and blood
of Christ sacrificed for the remission of sins and fellowship in the sufferings
of Christ (Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 2: 38-41; Matthew 26: 26-29;
I Corinthians 11: 23-29 ; 10:16; John 6: 44-56)
- We believe in the fellowship of all believers in the holy church
and its community (Romans 12: 5; I Corinthians 10:17; 12:13)
- We believe in heaven as a place of eternal life for believers
in the Lord Jesus Christ and in hell as a place of eternal damnation for
unbelievers (John 5: 24-29; Revelation 20: 11-15; 21: 8)
- We believe that the Lord Jesus is the Founder and Head of the Church,
who has established the apostolic leadership to equip the saints
for the work of service, for the building up of the body of Christ, which
has been entrusted to the apostolic leaders to teach the disciples of
Christ, appointed by elders and deacons to assist in the implementation
of service in local church (Matthew 16:18; 28:20; Acts 2:42 6: 1-6; 14:23;
Ephesians 2:20; 4: 11-12; I Timothy 3: 1 -13)
- We believe that church planting, missionary work and evangelism
are tasks which the Lord's church must complete in this world until the
Lord Jesus Christ returns (Matthew 24:14; 28: 19-20; Mark 16: 15-18; Luke
24 : 46-49; Acts 1: 8)
