Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works and wonderful deeds among all the peoples. (Psalm 96:3 AMP)
We are already in the last month of 2025, and soon we will enter a new year, 2026. This means we have almost passed one year. Things are not going well in our world. Our world is becoming increasingly dark, with wars, digital crime (AI), murder, rape, sexual deviance, and oppression of believers becoming more widespread. There is no longer a safe place in this world. The series of events that have occurred in various parts of the world recently have made people increasingly afraid and lose their peace because they don't know what to do. People who previously felt secure in their jobs now feel uneasy because they too might be laid off. People who don't have jobs find it increasingly difficult to get job opportunities day by day. The leaders of countries and the world compete hard on the political stage while touting about world conditions which they think will get better, but unfortunately in reality all their efforts seem to be in vain and the world economy is increasingly in a bad condition. And in looking at the current state of our world, the question is: will we as God's disciples remain silent and not want to tell about His glory and His miraculous deeds? It shouldn't be. His words in Psalm 96:3 say, Tell about His glory among the nations and wonderful deeds among all peoples. Likewise, during this Christmas season at the end of the year, we are almost always reminded of the great joy for all the people that the angel of the Lord delivered to the shepherds in the fields some 2,000 years ago: "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people. For unto you has been born this day in the city of David a Savior, Jesus Christ the Lord" (Luke 2:10, 11). Then a multitude of the heavenly host praised God with the angel, saying, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among men with whom he is pleased" (Luke 2:14). These verses actually speak of mission and evangelism filled with God's glory. The world is indeed hopeless and full of uncertainty, full of fear and unease. But we need not worry. In times like these, God truly cares for us. Through the joyous news delivered by the angel of the Lord, we have a definite assurance:
1. The birth of the Lord Jesus as Savior of the world is precisely intended
to eliminate all The fear that exists in the world.
2. Whatever the circumstances, peace on earth can still be experienced
by everyone who believes and whose life is pleasing to Him.
3. When the Lord Jesus was born, His name was Immanuel, which means God
with us. Through this assurance, let us continue to share His glory and
His miraculous deeds with those around us.
We wish you a MERRY CHRISTMAS 2025 and a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026! May the Lord Jesus bless you! Amen!
